It doesn't matter if you're playing in real life or as an online game; the objective of blackjack is always the same. The player must come as near as possible to 21 but still have a higher number than the dealer. Player's will place their wagers before any of the cards have been dealt. As soon as the wagers have been placed the player will be dealt two cards face up as is the dealer. If the full amount of the players cards are more than the dealers amount whilst still being under 21 then the player wins. The player will also win if the dealer's cards total more than 21.
