The online casino game of Chinese poker begins when the dealer deals out two cards to each player in the game. If both cards belonging to the player's hand match then that player has cards making a pair. If the cards don't match then the hand will be called depending on the highest of the two cards. One example of this is if the players cards were a queen and a 4. The hand would be a queen-high. Each player from the left of the dealer then decides if they would like to go "in" or "out". the players who chose "out" are unable to participate or have any further stakes in the game unless the cards are re-dealt.

Amongst the players who selected to be "in" the one with the greatest hand will collect the pot whilst the players who called "in" but lost will each put the amount of money collected by the winner into the pot. An example of this is if the pot was worth 50 cents then the winner would collect 50 cents and the players who lost would put 50 cents each into the new pot. If three players go in then one player will collect and the other two will then match the pot making it now a dollar.
